The Administrative Center of the Capital
Bankowy Square is one of the most important administrative places in Warsaw. Its western frontage consists of impressive, classicist palaces: the former building of the Stock Exchange and the Bank of Poland, and the Palace of the Government Commission of Revenue and Treasury, which today serves as the City Hall – the official seat of the Mayor of Warsaw.
