The Right Bank of the Vistula – A Different Face of the City
Praga is a district that survived World War II without such massive destruction as left-bank Warsaw. Thanks to this, it has retained its unique, craft character. The Municipal Zoological Garden is also located here, famous for the heroism of its director, Jan Żabiński, who hid Jews on the ZOO grounds during the war.
