The Most Elegant Street in Warsaw
Nowy Świat Street constitutes the southern part of the Royal Route. It is the historical and cultural artery of the city, full of classicist tenement houses, exclusive boutiques, prestigious cafes and restaurants. Rebuilt after the war in a style referring to the 19th century, it has retained its representative character.
What to See on Nowy Świat?
Blikle Cafe

Nicolaus Copernicus Monument
The famous monument of the astronomer by Bertel Thorvaldsen, located in front of the Staszic Palace (a bit north along the Route).
Nowy Świat Pavilions
A hub of pubs and bars hidden at the back of tenement houses. A favorite evening meeting place for Warsaw students.
