Art and the Oldest Park in Warsaw

This stop combines high culture and the beauty of nature. On the one hand, there is the magnificent building of the Zachęta National Gallery of Art, the most important institution promoting contemporary art in the country. On the other hand lies the Saxon Garden, the oldest public park in the city, founded in the French style in the early 18th century by King Augustus II the Strong.

Tomb of the Unknown Soldier

Located on the edge of the Saxon Garden (on Piłsudski Square), a monument paying tribute to nameless heroes. You can see the honor guard of the Polish Army there.

An oasis of greenery with trees over 250 years old, a beautiful classicist fountain, and a famous Sundial.

Zachęta National Gallery

A building with remarkable architecture (where President Narutowicz was assassinated in 1922), hosting exhibitions by the best Polish and international artists.

  • Changing of the Guard: The changing of the guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier takes place every day on the hour.

  • Walk to the Old Town: Through the Saxon Garden, you can take a very pleasant and short walk straight to the Old Town area.
