Warsaw's Old Town is a unique place on the world map. After almost total destruction during World War II, it was reconstructed with such precision that in 1980 it was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Today it delights with colorful townhouses, narrow streets and the unique atmosphere of the former capital.

  • Walk: The best way to get to know the Old Town is simply to get lost in its side streets leading off the Market Square.
